To build or NOT to build that is the question.
I have decided to begin a blog to sort through all the experiences that my husband and I have encountered on the journey of building our dream, Hannah's Haven.
Hannah's Haven was a dream, a vision of ours, our calling.......
and now over 10 years later; we wonder,
"was it God's voice we heard or insanity?"
Comments and thoughts are welcome, so are prayers.......as we journey through the path of deciding if it is time to lay down the dream and let it go.

I read your comment on Johanna's blog about guinea hens. They may be the answer to your problem with fisher cats. We are having problems with them here also. Guinea hens are supposed to be incredible watchdogs. They will raise a loud, raucous, screeching when any predator or intruder happens by. If your neighbors are close, get their approval first, not everyone appreciates the joys of getting up before dawn. They should but they don't.
Thank you for your comment about the grandmother's arms around the boy's neck. I remember that scenario with great tenderness. I also remember my Mother's hands around my neck but not with such tenderness. She was the Mother of two boys and did not have the an excess of tolerance for the fiascos that boys get into.
Tomato plants do wonderfully in the Pastene 128 ounce tomato cans. I think that it is the zinc in the lining. You could show your daughter that it is possible to grow tomatoes from a can.
